From dry docking and steel renewal to propulsion repairs, afloat repairs and marine logistics, Nass Marine helps vessel owners, operators and contractors keep critical assets safe, compliant and ready for service.
At our Al Hidd yard, Nass Marine brings together dry docking, afloat repairs, steel renewal, blasting and painting, propulsion repairs, lifting, storage and marine logistics in one operational environment.

Small-to-medium vessels and barges built to ABS, BV and Lloyd’s class — 64+ barges and 3 floating jetties delivered since 2006.

Dry docking up to 700 t for dredgers, barges, tugs and yachts — blasting and painting, steel renewal, mechanical works and class surveys.

Alongside repairs for vessels up to 220 m LOA, 4.5–6.0 m draft — mechanical, piping, coatings and equipment overhauls.

Safe, environmentally responsible dismantling to ISO 30000:2009 — from hazard removal through recycling certification.

Nass 101 & 102 fuel-oil tank barges, 82 m LOA — temporary fuel storage with 2 × 600 m³/hr cargo pumps.

Steel renewal, fabrication and pipe repairs at client sites and external yards.

Repair and refurbishment through dry docking or afloat — hull treatment, carpentry, mechanical and electrical.

Generator and motor overhauls, switchboards, alarms, navigation, communication and CCTV systems.

Heavy steel fabrication, offshore structures, platforms and pipe spools — engineered and built in-house.

Load-in, load-out and marine transport of heavy and oversized equipment, quayside to barge.

A dedicated jetty for offloading aggregate and construction materials straight into Bahrain projects.
Our jetty facilities take vessels up to 220 m LOA at 4.5–6.0 m draft — equipped with mooring lines, fenders and gangways for the safe, secure docking of dredgers, barges, tugs and yachts.

Safety and quality are managed as part of the work, not added to it. Every scope is permitted, risk-assessed and inspected against agreed hold points, and coordinated with the attending class surveyor from arrival through to redelivery.

Yard milestones, deliveries and certifications.

We are exhibiting at the Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress, Jeddah Superdome, on 21 and 22 October. Come to Booth C190 and talk through a docking slot, an afloat repair scope or a newbuild barge with the engineers who would run the job.

Collaborations with Al Tamimi Group and High Seas Marine extend the services Nass Marine can put in front of clients across the GCC.

The award of an oil spill containment barge for Kuwait Oil Company marks the yard’s largest step into purpose-built marine infrastructure.

A working yard sits on the water it depends on. Ours is run to certified environmental and safety management, and every vessel we dismantle is documented from hazard survey to recycling certificate.
The yard operates a certified environmental management system covering waste streams, effluent, emissions and spill response across every berth and workshop.
Vessels are dismantled to the international standard for ship recycling facilities — hazard survey first, controlled removal, documented downstream disposal, recycling certificate issued.
Abrasive blasting and spray painting are contained and filtered, with grit recovered and coatings selected to marine-safe specification to protect the surrounding waters of Al Hidd.
ISO 45001 safety management sits alongside environmental control — the same permit-to-work discipline governs hot work, confined space entry and over-water operations.
“They docked our dredger on short notice and returned her to service inside the window they promised. The steel work was surveyed and accepted first time.”
“Alongside repairs without taking the vessel out of service is what keeps our operation running. Nass Marine crews work round the clock and the berth is always ready.”
“Barges built to class, delivered on programme, and a yard team that engages with the surveyor directly instead of pushing it back to us.”
Send drawings, class notes or a scope of work — a senior engineer replies within one working day.
